WOW ... I am 32 already, praise the good Lord Al-mighty for His blessings in the past 32 years!
Never really done any serious bloggings, but heck, everything has its first time, so, am going to try this out, and see whether I am persevere enough to get this going until at least I am 33 :-)
Celebration is not so much of an appeal to me of late, or rather its been like these for the past 5 years. I am contented with a 2 pieces chicken meal take-away from my all time favourite fast food chain, KFC, for I still remember this was the exact celebration I truly treasure when I was still a small kid. Guess, back to basic, and is a beautiful thing, indeed!
Many close friends would have known me by now, no outings / clubbings / pubbings nor any sort of kind invitation to go for a drink would be entertained on the exact big day of my birth. Since don't know when, I thought the best celebration to have is to spend some time with myself to reflect on the goods and bads, ups and downs in the past year, and to always count on the blessings that I am still happily around.
I do not have any great visions, nor any material wish, nor presents to receive, but one thing, that's to examine myself how much I have grown in the past year.
I am actually a simple man, but I believe many would beg to differ:-) Perhaps many of my friends still do not really understand me. The pursuit of life is real, and I tend to enjoy everyday and every second of my breath, for life is simply too short to live in stress, to live in hatred, or to have any misunderstanding which is simply too childish.
Life is not about how much wealth one has, how successful it is in one's career or how influential one is to others. Life is always about giving, helping and sharing the joy with others so that such joy is never buried, but spread to bring hope and happiness to people around you. At least, that's the way I was enlightened. For I believe the teachings of my faith, that TO GIVE IS MUCH MORE BLESSED THAN TO RECEIVE.
Been reading, not a lot, but sufficient to help me in my inner growth. I pray that I have half of Solomon's wisdom, and able to use such knowledge that I gain to assist to make this world a better place, in a very limited way. And that's my prayer, that's my hope, and hopefully that's the the guiding philosophy that would be with me for the rest of my days on earth.
Shalom to all my beloved ones, mum and dad, relatives and friends, colleagues and ex-colleagues, readers of this blog. May the good Lord Almighty bless all of you, richly and abundantly, in many ways, with good health and in good spirit, always... Will!
